About the role

As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of first-class customer service, managing customer enquiries received through various communication channels.  Seeking to achieve first time resolution in the management of enquiries linked to the provision of general advice, assistance, tenancy, and property management.

Managing services areas such as housing and property enquiries, rent and non-rent debt including rent payments, low level rent debt and non-rent debt management, rent reviews, responsive repairs, housing, and asset administration supports.

With your positive attitude and customer centric approach, you will effectively manage enquiries that support Bric in driving our obligations as a Community Housing Provider and help our customers to sustain their tenancy successfully.

To really thrive in this role, you will need excellent customer service skills, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills, the ability to work well in a team environment along with a passion for continual learning and growth.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic, dedicated, resilient, non-judgmental person with a flair for great customer service. You will be comfortable working with people from all cultures and backgrounds, including varying socio-economic statuses and lifestyle choices.

You will also have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build rapport and demonstrate good active listening skills
  • Experienced in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
  • Great time management skills with good attention to detail
  • Experienced in problem solving and critical thinking skills, enabling you to make required decisions.
