We are committed to creating safe, respectful and inclusive environments where children and young people are protected from harm and their voices are valued
Bric Housing is committed to the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all children and young people who interact with our organisation, our services, our properties, our people and our activities.
We believe that every child and young person has the right to feel safe, respected, included and heard. We have zero tolerance for child abuse, neglect, exploitation, harm, bullying, discrimination or any behaviour that places a child or young person at risk
While children and young people are not the primary focus of our services, we recognise that they are part of the communities we serve and that everyone at Bric has a role in helping to keep them safe.
Bric Housing will:
Child safety is everyone’s responsibility. We expect our Board, employees, volunteers, contractors and partners to uphold our commitment, act in the best interests of children and young people, and report any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
If you are concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person in connection with Bric Housing, we encourage you to speak up. Reports and concerns will be taken seriously and handled appropriately and respectfully.
Together, we can help create safe, inclusive and respectful communities where children and young people can thrive.
